WHY LEARN TO SEW?

    Sewing is a practical skill children can carry with them forever. Our goal is to bring this once-everyday skill back into every household, giving the next generation the confidence to make, mend and repair.

    The benefits go far beyond sewing. Children learn to problem-solve, work independently, persevere through mistakes and experience the incredible pride of saying, “I made this.”

    Sewing brings children together. Our classes create a space to talk, create, help one another and form friendships naturally, while allowing every child to learn and participate at their own pace.

    By learning to mend, reuse and upcycle from a young age, children begin to value what they own and understand how things are made — building more sustainable habits that can last a lifetime.
